About Prague

Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic and is a charming and lively city. There is a population of just over 1 million and it is the largest city in the Czech Republic. Sitting on the Vltava River in the heart of the country this is one of the most popular countries in Eastern Europe. With its amazing architecture, pretty parks and trendy bars it is easy to see why.

The city is filled with wonderful architecture including the Castle which is the largest in the world. One of the best loved attractions in Prague is the Charles Bridge which dates from the 14th century and is one of its prettiest attractions. In the old town you will find the Gothic Týn Church and the famous Astronomical Clock.

Come and enjoy the nightlife in Prague. Bar and restaurants will help you get into the mood before you move on to the clubs. Alternatively take a romantic cruise along the Vltava River as the sun sets. If you like shopping you will love a trip to Prague. Shopping arcades can be found across the city with the most famous being Black Rose on Na Prikope Street. In December the squares are full of Christmas markets where you can pick up a range of goods.

Prague Weather

Prague generally has mild weather. In the summer temperatures are warm but the months of May until August are also the wettest. In the winter the temperatures stay low and often drop below freezing. Spring tends to be sunny and can be a good time to come and visit the city.
